Receipt of Policies

Keeping careful records and maintaining an organized system for those records are important practices of any business. Written receipts serve as documentation that staff members have received copies of your program’s handbook. If questions about your policies and procedures arise, it is helpful to have a record of the written information your staff received. When new staff members are hired, give them a copy of your program’s handbook and ask them to sign a receipt as part of your hiring process.
